Hi all,
I recently changed the stereo in my jreg v8 soarer. Problem is the plastic front surround that came with the unit is too wide. Also the plastic box that fits in the bottom of the double din unit has got ragged edges to it. Does anyone know of either a place that sells the surrounds or a place that can fabricate what I need?
The car is currently at the garage waiting for a new rad to be fitted (got a brand spanker from japan) so I will take pics and post these when I get it back to show what I require. |

| yes you can buy a proper double din kit, its made by Metra part number 95-8157B |

I bought and fitted one of these kits to my 3.0 and after some arsing around the results were pretty good........

Reading the thread back most of my probs were down to installing an el-cheapo double din that I'd inherited from another car so I had to butcher the new fascia to suit, otherwise it wasn't too bad. Have fun.....! |
